Typical Saturday weddings result in guests having just one day to recuperate and catch up on errands before they go back to work. When a couple has a Friday wedding, guests have the luxury to utilize the entire weekend to relax but also get things done.

If a wedding happens on a Friday, the festivities can continue throughout the weekend if a couple chooses, or an early departure to the honeymoon!
Higher Venue Availability
Saturday weddings are prime dates during the wedding season, but Fridays and Sundays are generally less popular (minus long weekends and holidays of course). There’s a higher chance to land your preferred venue on a Friday.
Potentially Lesser Costs
Lower rates may not necessarily apply to vendors for a Friday wedding (unless it’s an off-season date), but venues generally have lower rates for a Friday wedding compared to a Saturday wedding in and out of the wedding season (minus long weekends and holidays again), which is a plus.
