2024 Wedding Trends: What’s In and What’s Out

Engagement season is upon us, which means there will be weddings to plan and new trends to look forward to. Here are three trends of what’s in and what’s out for 2024 weddings:

WHAT’S IN

Whether couples are opting for a full bar or selected beverages, they want their guests to have a fun and elevated drink experience, and signature cocktails are a perfect opportunity to include their personality and flavors into their drink selections.

Couples are breaking away from traditional wedding attire where everyone wears the same outfits and embracing each member’s individuality with mismatched apparel.

Whether it’s an extended wedding reception or after party, couples are feeding their wedding guests late night snacks to keep the festivities going and end the night on a high note.

WHAT’S OUT

Bouquet tosses and garter tosses are out. Also, cake cuttings are on the decline and will be replaced by alternative ideas (dessert tables or stations, a quiet cutting or skipping it all together).

Intimate weddings continue to be popular, which naturally result in smaller wedding parties. Having a couple’s closest loved ones by their side instead of a large group means more quality time and less logistics, from getting ready to taking photos.

Couples are opting to celebrate with their guests through wedding party tables and communal tables instead of solitary sweetheart tables.
