Styled Shoot 10.9.17 | Rustic Farm Wedding

Farmington Lake 12

Styled Shoot Sunday: Farmington Lake

It was a gorgeous autumn day in October—a perfect day to hold an outdoor wedding styled shoot. Farmington Lake, located in Mokena, Illinois, is a stunning 50-acre estate that includes a floral welcome gate, vintage garden and charming footbridge that leads to a secluded lakeside meadow where the countryside ceremony site lives. Large sturdy trees, scenic views of hayfields and white antique doors reveal hand-painted mismatched farm chairs, curved abbey windows and picturesque sights of the lake under a beautifully crafted arbor.

Thoughtfully designed and inclusive of both natural elements and handcrafted details, this beautiful outdoor ceremony venue was the perfect spot to hold a rustic farm wedding shoot. One full shoot was dedicated to a beautiful couple and their sweet Dalmatian dog and another shoot of portraits was dedicated to a lovely bride.
