It was warm and cloudy on the first day of August. The day marked a new beginning for Sariga and George. The bride got ready at the Hampton Inn in Mount Prospect, and the groom got ready at his home in Naperville. Sariga and George had a beautiful, intimate and covid-safe church ceremony at Syro Malabar Cathedral. After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party took group photos at the Naperville Riverwalk before heading back to the groom’s home for a small backyard reception. One of our favorite highlights was the confetti exit after the church!
Sariga and George were wonderful to work with. They were kind, funny, open to my advice and recommendations while planning, flexible when their original wedding plans had to change, and trusting in my capabilities to take care of their logistical details, so they truly enjoyed their wedding day. They were supposed to have a 500+ blowout banquet hall reception but swapped that for an intimate 40-person backyard reception, so they could get married on their original wedding date. It wasn’t what they initially envisioned, but it was a special day nonetheless and the couple clearly valued their marriage over everything else.
I’m honored to have been a part of one of the most special days in Sariga and George’s lives. I wish them both all the love and happiness in the world!
