Whether it’s powder, periwinkle, baby, ice, navy or royal, a shade of blue is a staple for this year’s weddings. The color is whimsical, chic, adaptable to any season and compliments several other colors.

The wedding industry has been inundated with postponed weddings because of the pandemic and newly engaged couples, which has affected venues’ weekend availability. 2022 couples are not only accepting but embracing a weekday wedding. The pros? Lower rates, more options & availability from venues and vendors, and a (likely) smaller guest list for a more intimate affair.

Along with a staple dream team of wedding professionals, couples are looking to entertain with a unique elegance that revolves around guest interaction. Some popular ideas include interactive desserts (custom ice cream carts or donut trucks) and live vendors, such as performers and temporary tattoo artists.
