Amy & Jeff’s Wedding 6.23.18 | Downtown Evanston Garden Wedding

It was a warm and cloudy morning in June—a perfect day to have an outdoor garden ceremony in Evanston. The day marked a new beginning for Amy and Jeff. The couple had their first look at a train track stop near their home before heading to the lake for the rest of their pictures. Surrounded by loved ones, Amy and Jeff’s wedding of 100 people at the Merrick Rose Garden was simple and sweet. The warm, cloudy morning turned into a sunny afternoon as we took a 15-minute stroll from the garden to their beautiful brunch reception at Terra & Vine, a delicious Italian-Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Evanston.

Amy and Jeff were not only so down-to-earth, but their vendor team was just as wonderful. From the simple flower arrangements and delicious Portillo’s cake to their amazing DJ who kept the dance floor crowded and their talented photo and video team who captured all their special moments, the day could not have went better. I’m honored to have been a part of one of the most special days in Amy and Jeff’s lives. I wish them both all the love and happiness in the world!
