It was a mild day in June, and the day marked a new beginning for Purvi and Atit. The couple had their beautiful Hindu ceremony in at outdoor tent at Sheraton Suites in Elk Grove Village. Right before the ceremony, Atit had a lively baraat outside the hotel with music and dancing. Despite a quick rain shower, that didn’t stop Atit’s group from having a great time! That evening, we did a room flip in the tent to host their garba. The garba included delicious food stations, lounge furniture and bright colored décor like umbrellas, ceiling lamps and throw pillows. One of our favorite parts of the day included a garba dance that had dandiya sticks for all the guests.

The following day, the couple had a traditional American reception that included cocktails, dinner and dancing at the Adler Planetarium. It was an unusually cool and windy day for June, but the couple braved the cold with their families to take pictures outside before the festivities began.

Purvi and Atit were amazing to work with. They were fun, organized and confident of my ability to take care of their 2-day wedding, so they could truly enjoy their wedding weekend. I’m honored to have been a part of two of the most special days in Purvi and Atit’s lives. I wish them both all the love and happiness in the world!
