What Your Guests Do Care About

Wedding Ceremony

In the last post, we discussed what your guests don’t care about at your wedding. Picking up right where we left off, let’s discuss what your guests really do care for.

Here are three wedding details your guests pay attention to:

The Ceremony

Believe it or not, guests actually want to see you get married! Watching a couple declare their love for each other is what a wedding is truly about, and your guests want to partake in that. If you want to make guests extra happy, keep the ceremony short (under 30 minutes) so they don’t get restless.

Music

From the prelude to the last song, guests want to hear good music throughout the day. This is especially true once the dance floor opens to everyone. Keep in mind that you will likely have guests of all ages, so it may be a good idea to have a variety of tunes playing throughout the night, including popular songs everyone will love, to keep the dance floor crowded.

Food & Drinks

A fantastic meal with a fully stocked bar is a great compliment to good music. Quality food and drinks will always put guests in a good mood and create a happy atmosphere. Long story short, delicious food and flowing drinks are always crowd pleasers.

Essentially the big things—ceremony, music and food/drinks—matter to guests. It may seem like every detail is important while wedding planning, but the reality is there are many elements that guests don’t pay attention to and some they truly care for.

Just remember that the only thing that’s more important than what your guests want at a wedding is what you and your fiancé want for your wedding. It’s your special day, so make sure to implement any details that are important to the two of you!
