An experienced transportation company will be an asset to you during a wedding. If the company is familiar with where they have to pick you up, drop you off and where they are able to park their vehicle, everything will run efficiently. This is why it’s important to ask potential transportation vendors if they are familiar with your venue and if they have serviced a wedding there before. Don’t get stuck with an inexperienced company who takes a ton of time figuring out the details and layout of the venue because they’ve never been there before!
Can I come look at the vehicle before I place my deposit?
Trust us when we say that you will want to take a tour of the exact vehicle you will be renting before you place a deposit. Without visiting the vehicle in person, you can never truly know what you’re going to experience on your wedding day. If you’re not careful, you could book a vehicle with a company who doesn’t care about the cleanliness of their vehicles but offers beautiful pictures of them on their website. Take a look at what you want to rent and make sure it seems like it will be the correct size for your wedding party.
Is this the final and all inclusive price or should I anticipate extra costs?
The last thing you want to deal with on your wedding day is an unexpected demand for money from one of your vendors. If you’re not totally careful when reserving your wedding transportation, this could be an issue. There are a lot of sneaky fees that companies can charge for while boasting a frugal price such as gas, tip or mileage. Be sure to ask about the all-inclusive price and look carefully through a contract to see if anything is unclear.
